First of all let me wish you a happy new year and all the best in 2016 for you, your family, your friends and your nations and peoples.
All in all 2015 was an challenging year with its bulk of crisis (from the social crisis to the refugee crisis, from the economic crisis to the global warming, from the Greek crisis to the democratic deficit in the EU) but it was also, for our political family, an existing year. The Scottish people elected 56 nationalist MPs (out of 59) to defend Scotland’s voice in Westminster, the Catalan demonstrated and voted for independence and the Corsican elected their first nationalist government ever to name a few example.
And 2016, we should be convinced, will be even more interesting for our stateless nations, peoples and minorities. With some elections (Scotland, Wales, UK referendum) and important event (General assembly in Corsica, conferences in Wales, in Budapest or in South Tirol…) we are going to keep on defending and promoting the alternative Europe in which we believe: the Europe of peoples.
So let me wish you, once again, happy new year and lets hope all our self determined dreams come true in 2016.
Pace è Salute
