MOTION 2#: Inclusive Education (TIE)

GA notes that EFAy is committed to advancing LGBTI rights to ensure that everyone, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity, can live in a country where they are empowered to be themselves without fear.
GA condemns the reality that 90% of LGBTI people have experienced homophobia, biphobia and/or transphobia at school and that over a quarter have attempted suicide as a result of bullying.

The GA welcomes contributions to tackling this problem from the Time for Inclusive Education (TIE) campaign in Scotland and urges member parties to take the spirit of this motion forward within their domestic political structures and to work with the TIE Campaign where possible in order to take the necessary further steps.
